Success Story at Vedansha Hospital – Doctor Speaks #1
Success Story at Vedansha Hospital – Doctor Speaks #1
Doctor’s day is celebrated on 1st of July every year in India remembering the great physician in India Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, who was the chief minister of west Bengal and a Bharat Ratna awardee.
Doctors are the one who are constantly working for your betterment of health. They are treated as being next to God in our country.
They always try to treat us in every possible way they could. They care for us and are angels in our lives. But sometimes even they fall short of getting rid of the patient’s disorder. This could be due to many reasons like patient’s response to the treatment, or some other issue like will power of the patient. And in such cases, many a times, doctors face the wrath of the patient’s angry relatives.
They try every possible way to cure the patients but then healing of patient does not solely depend on the doctor. We should respect them and their profession as they are our life saviours, and we should not be hostile with them in case the treatment doesn’t succeed.
In this pandemic, doctors were on their toes to take care of patients who were suffering from corona and from other diseases also. They were performing their duties 24/7 to cure the patients. They were risking their lives for us so that we remain safe and healthy. They were also facing lots of personal problems like doctors who were tenants were told to leave the property because they were working for corona patients and other such ridiculous societal behaviour. A lot of doctors died curing their patients. They were consistently at health risk. They also have their families but they dedicated their time curing patients and taking care of them.
We should be thankful to them from the bottom of our heart and we should mean it. They are the warriors.
This Doctor’s Day, lets pray for them and their wellbeing; if they are healthy we will be healthy. So let’s add happiness and positivity in their lives by respecting them and their profession.

These are troubled times.
Following the guidelines, we have been at our homes and have stepped out only in case of emergency or for essential supplies. And whenever we did step out, we constantly feared of meeting someone who is a coronavirus carrier and would infect us.
But as a more relaxed #Lockdown 4.0 was announced in India, let’s brace ourselves for #LivingWithCorona.
The show must go on. Economies worldwide have been deeply affected and countries (including India) are now transitioning into a new phase – of having a life with the necessary precautions, care, and responsibility and all this time, keeping in mind that #Coronavirus is still not gone.
So, while we still continue to think twice to freely move and step out for what we need, there are cases we really can’t or rather shouldn’t delay our stepping out – Healthcare.
When we feel there is some problem or disorder we are facing with our body, we should immediately seek medical opinion.
At Vedansha Hospital, we have taken all the necessary steps at our hospital premises so that while you continue to visit us for Maternity Care, Gynaec Problems or IVF / Fertility related issues, worrying about #Corona should be least of your concern.
At Vedansha, your safety is our priority.

Imagine waking up to screams of someone in extreme pain, a lady screaming at the top of her voice – a sound that you can hear from a long distance, the scream of a would-be- mother in her labour pain.
Yes that is exactly how I start my day.
I am a bed in a maternity hospital.
My morning alarm is either a baby’s cry or a mother’s scream.
Every day I get to witness life’s most beautiful miracle- that of a child birth!
These little angels sometimes arrive seamlessly and in some rare cases, fight for their life when they arrive. I get to hear their first-cries and I get to see the smiles that they bring on their mother’s faces.
I get to witness how the team of doctors arrive all geared up and execute the operation using all their expertise. I also get too see how sometimes the to-be-mothers fight with pain and how they eventually discover it was worth it, when they hold their babies in their hands.
Indeed it’s a blissful scene.
At my stay here, I have seen families and mothers, coming from all varied backgrounds.
While there have been rich families driving in their expensive cars and witnessing their prince/angel arrive in this word, there are these other less privileged ones too, who just make it to the hospital with almost no resource, but still be equally happy when their little ones arrive.
Childbirth is indeed a leveller and I get to see this beautiful moment daily.
Although my days and nights are filled with potty pots and nappies, I have little complains from my life. I continue to build memories and witness this miracle again and again.
Until next time, see you! For any maternity or IVF related query,

In the rush of festivities, we tend to ignore ourselves.
Especially the ladies, who while taking care of their loved ones, tend to forget
prioritizing their own selves.
All you ladies, this Christmas #GiftYourselves and #BeYourOwnSanta.
